Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

Welcome to this website (the ‘Site’). We value and uphold the intellectual property rights of individuals, just as we anticipate the same respect towards our own rights. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c), copyright owners or their representatives have the right to send us a takedown notice using the information provided for our DMCA Agent. As an internet service provider, we are shielded by “safe harbor” clauses within the DMCA, granting us immunity from alleged copyright infringement cases. To lodge a sincere claim of infringement, certain details need to be included in your notice:

Notice of Infringement – Claim

  1. A signature from the copyright owner or an authorized representative;
  2. Details of the copyrighted work believed to be infringed;
  3. Identification of the material to be taken down, along with information aiding in its location;
  4. Contact information of the complaining party;
  5. A declaration asserting the unauthorized use of the material;
  6. A statement affirming the accuracy of the notification and the authority of the complaining party.

Under Title 17 USC §512(f), individuals knowingly misrepresenting information in an infringement claim may face civil penalties. Takedown notices should be sent via our Contact page or by email for a prompt response.

Kindly be aware that we may disclose the identity and details of any copyright infringement claims to the alleged infringer involved. By submitting a claim, you acknowledge and agree to this potential disclosure.

Counter Notification – Restoration of Material

If you receive a takedown notice due to a copyright claim, you have the option to submit a counter notification requesting the restoration of the material by following guidelines outlined in 17 USC Section 512(g)(3).

  1. Your signature;
  2. A description of the removed material and its original location;
  3. A statement declaring the material was mistakenly taken down;
  4. Your personal details and consent to jurisdiction for legal procedures.

Send your counter notice via our Contact page, preferably through email.

We have strict protocols for addressing copyright infringement, including maintaining a list of DMCA notices to identify and take action against repeat offenders.
